MrBeast dropped a video under the title “1,000 Blind People See For The First Time.” In that, he gathered a thousand people from all across the globe and paid for their surgeries just so that they could get their vision back. And to everyone’s surprise, the participants, as well as fans, loved this idea. Still, a few haters trolled Jimmy, calling it a ‘show-off’, so an avid fan decoded the ‘millions’ he spent for a good cause

MrBeast fan silences haters who consider Jimmy’s act of kindness fake

As we all know, MrBeast is one of the most unique content creators on the platform. He always steps out of his comfort zone, making videos that turn out to be extremely challenging. However, he recently announced a change in his content, with a view to positively affect the participants without the guise of a challenge.

For that, he published a video featuring 1,000 blind people that got their vision back due to him. Apparently, he paid for their surgeries, understanding the fact that money is the fundamental problem for this issue. Plus, the doctor featured in the video also accepted this, as he confirmed that a 10-minute surgery might get anyone their eyesight back.

Here’s what Jimmy said in the video“If you’re wondering how the surgery allows people to see again, it’s because the lens in their eyes is so cloudy that they can’t see through it. So the surgeon uses a tiny vacuum to suck up the clouded lens. And replace it with an artificial one. The surgery is that simple! They can see again.”

Despite the good cause, Jimmy received major criticism on Twitter as fans referred to his act as ‘charity p*rn.‘ But amidst the chaos, a devoted fan calculated the amount he spent only for a simple concern.

Looking at the average cost being $5000, it looks like Jimmy spent $5 million on the video. And it’s not like it makes a major difference in his net worth, as Forbes reported it to be $500 million. But what matters is that MrBeast is staying true to his promise, his once Twitter bio that stated – ‘I want to make the world a better place before I die.’

Well, he is doing a fantastic job doing so, and it’s simply remarkable! Do you agree that MrBeast is changing the world for good or do you think its manufactured publicity stunt?
