Much Needed God of War Ragnarok Update Rumored to Break Before the End of June 2022

Fans are eagerly waiting for the God of War: Ragnarok. However, there is still no official release date for the game. But it might be over as the game’s release date might be revealed soon.

The God of War is the most famous video game franchise. But after three games exploring the Greek mythology, the series received a soft reboot with the 2018 game, God of War. This 2018 game took fans to explore the Norse realm.

The new God of War in the Norse mythology became a major hit among the fans. Then the sequel game was supposed to release in 2021 but was later pushed to 2022. Santa Monica studio revealed the God of War: Ragnarok in the PlayStation Showcase 2021.

However, the developers only rumored the new game in the series will release in 2022. But we are in June, but there is still no news about the game’s release. However, the famous leaker, The Snitch, who revealed many reliable leaks in the past, has uncovered when Sony might announce the release date.

When will Sony reveal the God of War: Ragnarok?

The Snitch recently shared a GIF of a smiling Kratos on his Twitter. Moreover, the GIF had 11110 below, and these numbers are the binary for 30. This tweet can hint that Santa Monica Studio will reveal the God of War: Ragnarok’s release date on June 30.

There were rumors about Sony hosting a State of Play at the end of June. So, the new God of War game would be the perfect title to reveal at the showcase event. Moreover, there is no E3 this year, and game companies are hosting their showcase events.

What to expect from the new God of War game?

The God of War: Ragnarok will pick up the story where the 2018 game ended. Kratos and his son Atreus will again set on a new adventure to prevent the calamity of Ragnarok. On this journey, they would also face enemies like Thor and Freya.

Further, the former Greek God of War might also visit the Norse God of War, Tyr, for help, who was believed dead. On this new journey, the father-son duo will also unveil the mystery behind Atreus’ other name, Loki.
