This has led to many players trying to relive their experience from the original days of Fortnite. While trying to relive moments from the early days of Fortnite, one content creator noticed the return of an easter egg that they helped incorporate into the game.

Muselk the popular Fortnite YouTuber, has had an iconic moment in Fortnite which many veteran players are familiar with. On his YouTube channel, there is a video where the player tries to save Chappadoodle, only to have a permanent Grave stone put in the place he was supposed to be rescued from.

While roaming around Paradise Palm, Muselk discovered a player stuck off the side of a cliff. This is when Muselk discovered Chappadoodle struggling in a corner of the map. Chappadoodle had no materials to build and had no way to get out. Muselk decided to embark on a rescue mission, intending to help Chappadoodle by using his materials to create a path for them. Upon almost reaching the bottom of the pit, Muselk noticed that he was unable to build structures that low.

Muselk then thought of a master plan to use the roof of the All-Terrain Kart to help the player bounce onto the structure he created below. So Muselk climbs back to the top and tries to use the ATK to reach the bottom of the cliff.  Unfortunately, the rescue mission took an unexpected turn when Muselk accidentally killed Chappadoodle with the ATK during the process. In recognition of Muselk’s attempt and the unfortunate demise of Chappadoodle, Fortnite added a tombstone with rubber tires to immortalize the incident on the Chapter 1 map. But this was soon removed when the map changed in Chapter 2.

Now that OG Fortnite is in play, Muselk wanted to try to recreate the iconic rescue mission. For this Muselk connected to Fortnite with Chappadoodle and set on recreating the moment. It is to be noted that now when players look down from the Cliff, they can see a Gravestone, a few tires of the ATK, and a portal to get back up so the issue is not repeated. While trying to recreate the moment, they had quite a few failed attempts and realized that the iconic moment was too difficult to create. In the end, the players gave up on trying to recreate the moment only to realize what made it so special in the first place.

Old memories were brought back to fans

This clip from the original years of Fortnite had many players discover the content creators around the time. Although Muselk has always been well-known, his interaction with Chappadoodle pushed his fame even further. One user mentioned how they came across the many streamers due to this event.

This clip triggered many emotions among fans and brought back some of the nostalgia from Fortnite Chapter 1.

Some newer players are unaware of the entire incident since the Gravestone was also lost to time. Upon seeing the clip for the first time, one player expressed how they found it to be hilarious.
