Naughty Dog has no plans for an Uncharted or The Last of Us sequel!

Neil Druckmann is said to be the main creative mind behind the original The Last of Us title. The game challenged Naughty Dog’s typical “got mine” concept started by the popular Uncharted games. Some fans saw that uneven narrative as a masterpiece, while others saw it as a forced farce.

And now the fans are asking for yet another sequel, but it appears the developers are not ready to work on it yet. Neil Druckmann, one of the co-creators of the franchise, recently told BuzzFeed that they would only start working on a sequel if they have another compelling story to tell.

He specifically said, “Our process is the same thing we did when we did Part 2, which is if we can come up with a compelling story that has this universal message and the statement about love — just like the first and second games did — then we will tell that story.”
