Criterion Games has a rich and superior work profile to boast about. They are the main force behind some popular titles like Battlefield, Battlefront, Burnout, and, of course, Need for Speed. That’s why Zampella thinks, “There is no better studio to join us on this journey, and I couldn’t be more excited.”
As reported, the majority of the developers from Criterion Games will jump into the Battlefield. But that doesn’t mean the wheels are going to stop rumbling. A small core group within Criterion will continue their work on the highly esteemed racing game series. This aspect was also supported by the head himself. Zampelle also expressed his passion for cars and how he wishes to join this core group in the future as they “shape what’s next for the franchise.”
