Who doesn’t want to see their favorite gaming characters step onto the silver screen? Be it the animated series Arcane for League of Legends fans or The Witcher movie for Witcher fans, gaming collaborations are always a treat to watch. This time, the treat is for Ubisoft fans.

Netflix and Ubisoft will be joining forces to bring Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix. This is going to be an adaptive anime series based on the famous 2013 title from Ubisoft, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. Set to be released on October 19 on Netflix, this series is going to feature a ton of Ubisoft characters from their huge universe.

Captain Laserhawk: An array of characters and voice actors

Ubisoft has a huge catalog of games under its roof. And there will also be more characters across the whole Ubisoft universe. From Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to Watch Dogs 2, from Far Cry 4 to Rainbox Six Siege, there will be an array of characters in the upcoming animated series, Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix.

Famous American actor Nathaniel Curtis, who played the role of Brian in the famous Netflix series, The Witcher: Blood Origin, will be behind the main character of Dolph Laserhawk. On the other hand, Dolph’s Boyfriend, Alex Taylor will be played by Assassin’s Creed Valhalla famed voice actor Boris Hiestand. “Slingshot” famed Mark Ebulue played the role of Marcus Holloway, the main protagonist of Watch Dogs 2. So, this popular character will be in this series as well.

The creative Director of a famous animation studio in Paris, Bobbypills, will do the honors of of Assassin’s Creed Character Bullfrog. Executive Producer and Creator of the famous live-action animation series Castlevania, Adi Shankar, will voice Red, a character inspired by the famous tactical shooter title Rainbow Six Siege.

Background of the series

The series was created by Castlevania and Devil May Cry famed Adi Shankar. Set in 1992, this series basically showcases the ruling of Eden in the USA by technocracy, propaganda, and corruption. The series protagonist, Dolph Laserhawk, is a cybernetically advanced super-soldier who escaped from the jaws of Eden with his boyfriend Alex.

But sadly, Alex betrayed Laserhawk. Consequently, Laserhawk was locked up in Eden’s high-security prison, called Supermaxx. This led him to join forces with other rebels in that prison, leaving him with no choice. Then the honors will fall upon Dolph’s soldiers, as he will lead the team of outcasts like him on a high-risk undercover mission under the supervision of the prison’s shadowy warden.

This series is like a universal crossover of our many favorite characters from Ubisoft. This long-hailed game publishing company has always quenched our gaming thirst. Now, it’s time to step into the field of the silver screen and spread the typical aura there too.
