And now, sixteen years later, as it celebrates its anniversary in the markets, Netflix has decided to honor it with a dedicated series.

Back in 2014, Epic Games made one of its biggest decisions, selling Gears Of War to Xbox. They needed money to fund the later projects that put them in a crucial position concerning the game. So, they decided that it was best to sell off the and continue working for the next ones with the unreal engine.

This came as a golden ticket to Xbox, who handed the game to Coalition Studios. The Canadian-based brand then put in years of hard work to stay in the limelight and give fans everything they expected. And now, after sixteen years of adventure, Netflix has decided to honor this marvel by bringing it to life.

It is no secret that video games have now become an essential part of our lives, as the majority of us at least play them. Plus, the characters have appealed to us, just as movie stars, securing a special place in our hearts.

Netflix confirmed to make a feature film for Gears Of War, a legendary game. They announced their partnership with Coalition studios and also hinted toward making an adult animated series. Apart from that, they suggested the possibility of more projects in time. 

This is one of the biggest news for the game as it is now in the elite ranks. So, believe it or not, the feature film will set a benchmark for the developers to create far better versions for the future. But for now, sit back and count the days as Netflix is getting us a banger!
