This isn’t the first time that the streaming platform has established a game studio. They had previously accrued Next Games, Night School Studio, and Boss Fight Entertainment. According to the company, each of these studios is designed to specifically make games catering to a variety of tastes.

Till now, the streaming service provider had many deals and acquisitions to make its place in the mobile gaming industry. Earlier this year, it acquired the Finland-based company named Next Games which was founded by a former Rovio executive. Later it also acquired Texas-based Studio Boss Fight Entertainment.

But sadly, even after all these efforts, barely anyone knows about games developed by Netflix. The total catalog of games has only seen 23.3 million downloads and only 1.7 million daily users. These stats show Netflix still has a long way to go if it wants to see success in the gaming market.
