Netflix to Launch Its First Non-Mobile Game Following the Acquisition of New Gaming Studio

Netflix bought Night School Studio, the developers behind the popular game Oxenfree. The company has launched five mobile games; however, these games are only available to European subscribers. With the recent acquisition, the company, Netflix, is all set to launch its first-ever non-mobile game for no extra charge.
Earlier this year, the company announced its plans to expand beyond movies/tv series, hoping to eventually diversify its sources of income.
The reason behind this is an increase in competition with several other streaming services available on the market, such as Hotstar Disney Plus, HBO Max, Hulu, and many more. However, the company wants to offer something beyond just movies/tv series for their customers to stay ahead of its competitors.
