The source reportedly originated from a Chinese forum. It claimed that a new Switch model is on the way. In fact, Nintendo may reveal the new Switch as early as September this year, according to the leaker. After a tiring day of broken dreams, fans found new hope in the Chinese leaker’s words, thus fueling another round of speculations.

According to a fan on a reputed forum, Resetera, a Chinese leaker had correctly predicted the arrival of a Splatoon 3 themed Switch, hours before the actual announcement. He had also revealed the exact time of the announcement, which turned out to be true.
