As per Gaming Bible, Tez2, a prominent insider, previously suggested that Rockstar is planning single-player DLC in advance of the game’s release. Reports hint at the possibility of additional cities being added to the game as post-launch content. As reported by Axios, the game originally intended to feature three different cities at launch, but the plan might have been scaled down.

The insider claims that Rockstar aims to allocate resources for post-launch content before the release of GTA VI. This gives fans hope that the devs will be working on a DLC for the game post its release. Tez2 suggests that the new cities in DLC might be instanced, similar to locations like Cayo Perico or North Yankton. The game could introduce Instanced cities or islands to accommodate new heists for GTA Online with each DLC release.
