The story behind Lies of P

Lies of P presents an interesting twist on the classic tale of Pinocchio. Players are made to survive in the eerie and nightmarish city of Krat. Within this fallen utopia, mechanical puppets have turned malevolent. And their creator, Geppetto, has mysteriously vanished.

Players take on the role of P, a puppet brought to life with the mission of saving the city from Geppetto. In the original fairy tale, Pinocchio embarks on a journey of self-discovery, encounters various characters, and learns important life lessons, including the consequences of lying. Lies of P maintains a delicate connection to the Pinocchio story, but introduces fresh twists and a darker narrative.

The game also pays homage to its source material with iconic characters, such as P (Pinocchio), Gemini (replacing the cricket Jiminy), Geppetto, and Sophia (reminiscent of the fairy).
