Xbox is splurging like never before. The Activision-Microsoft deal has received a green signal and fans can’t keep calm. Amidst such situations, Microsoft has announced multiple new titles to hit the Xbox Game Pass soon. The Wandering Village, Venba, and Celeste are among the few that will be available for Xbox players this August. With the Xbox Game Pass $1 deal being one of the best possible ways to access multiple titles in one bundle, this announcement is getting all the attention from the community.

Fans are looking at this as Microsoft’s attempt to shake things up in the industry and assert itself as the dominant market player.

Xbox-Activision deal to change the industry conditions

Microsoft’s plans of taking over Activision-Blizzard didn’t go unnoticed as its competitors made all efforts to halt the deal. However, Microsoft ultimately came out as victor from the year-long tension in the industry as the US court declined FTC’s plea for a preliminary injunction on the takeover. Since the verdict was made, the Xbox makers have gone into hyperdrive, announcing many titles for the Xbox Game Pass scheduled for August.

In court, Sony raised concerns over Call of Duty titles possibly becoming inaccessible to PlayStation users. To prove their good intentions, Microsoft signed a “binding deal” with Sony that would see all CoD titles till 2033 being featured on PS consoles without any restriction. However, the deal is valid only for CoD titles as Sony is also set to lose a number of franchises from its consoles.

Despite this, Microsoft is looking to make the most of the situation.

Xbox Game Pass to receive new titles soon

Microsoft has always fallen behind Sony and Nintendo in terms of the exclusivity of games. While the other two have an illustrious list of exclusive titles, Xbox never had the honor. Now, with the verdict going their way, Microsoft is looking to change the scenario. On their website, Xbox has recently listed a number of games that are set to debut on the Game Pass soon. Some of these titles include Figment 2, The Wandering Village, Maquette, and Serious Sam.
