Despite offering features like 4K resolution, ray tracing, faster loading times, and much more, GTA Online has met heavy scrutiny online. Significantly, fans are taking issues with pre-existing glitches that are yet to be fixed. A recent Twitter post saw fan discontentment boil to the surface.

GTA Online’s next-gen update fails to fix the quality of life issues

The GTA community has been waiting for the next-gen update with bated breath. It promised tempting features like frame rates up to 60 FPS, improved textures, and HDR options among others. Furthermore, fans were looking forward to the quality of life improvements upon the base GTA Online experience. However, in a disappointing turn of events, players would need to contend with those glitches for a while longer.

A user on Twitter has noted that the latest version of GTA Online still suffers from the problems of its predecessor. Chiefly, Franklin’s interior is yet to be fixed in the recent update. They add that the issue has been plaguing the game world since November 2021. Additionally, the annoying God mode glitches are yet to be eradicated. So players would have to continue dealing with hackers who can ruin their day.

Significantly, GTA Online’s next-gen update isn’t free. And so players would need to spend $19.99 to purchase a game that has the quality of life problems. Accordingly, fans have taken to Twitter to vent their frustrations on the state of the game.

Besides this, Player ratings are plummeting quite rapidly for the game.

A user’s reaction clearly depicts the disappointment with the persisting issues. The god-mode concerns can possibly sting the gaming reputation.

The Rockstar franchise seems to be facing some serious backlash for the upgrade row which has stirred in the gaming fans. A user considered this to be lazy and unfair in terms of charging for the upgrade.

Based on the reaction from yet another fan, it seems like a never-ending cycle of issues plaguing the game.

Fans can be absolutely savage sometimes when they do not get their expectations fulfilled when it comes to gaming.

It seems Rockstar Games have their work cut out for them. Until fixes arrive, players have no choice but to be content with the current state of the game. However, with the aforementioned slew of features, it’s bound to be a more interesting ride.
