It’s only two days before the launch of Mortal Kombat 1 and fans cannot contain their excitement. With the game scheduled to launch for all platforms, players are getting their joysticks ready for some brutal Mortal Kombat-style action. 

While the Kollector and premium editions are set to release on 14th September, the official Twitter page revealed the official Mortal Kombat 1 gameplay trailer 2 days before the launch. From the looks of the trailer, fans are to expect a fighting experience unlike ever seen before.

Neatherealm Studios pioneered gory side-scrolling fighters with the Mortal Kombat series. The standard edition of Mortal Kombat 1 will be releasing on 19th September. Mortal Kombat 1 marks a significant milestone for the company, being the 12th main installment and the series’ second reboot. 

The devs have gone above and beyond with Mortal Kombat 1 with new characters, new game modes, immersive levels, and newer ways to fight. Upon seeing the trailer, fans have high hopes for the upcoming fighter.

Players can expect to see all their favorite fights fight alongside the Kameos. Mortal Kombat 1 has added a new lineup of Kameo fighters, and players eagerly anticipate testing them out in battle.

Fans can also pre-order Mortal Kombat 1 to get some exclusive content including the character “Shang Tsung”. Players also got a sneak peek at other characters like Omni-Man from Image Comics’ Invincible series, Peacemaker from DC Comics, and Homelander from Dynamite Entertainment’s The Boys as part of the Kombat Pack. Hardcore fans can also buy the premium edition, which includes the whole game with the Kombat Pack. This pack also brings back Ermac, Takeda, and Quan Chi as guest characters from Mortal Kombat X.
