ChillinDude, as the Super Smash Bros community knows, is an extremely talented professional Melee player with a lot of achievements under his belt. In recent news, he fell prey to a stroke which forced his brother to host a fundraiser to cover his expenses. Notable personalities like Ludwig and Ninja came into immediate support to help the Fox main.

ChillinDude is currently a part of Team Liquid as a Pro Smash Player and is also a notable streamer and a caster. Very recently, Kashan ‘ChillinDude’ Khan reportedly suffered an unexpected stroke, following which he was admitted to the hospital. The doctors revealed later that it was a result of a knee infection that had spread to his heart. According to his brother, ChillinDude will need an open heart surgery to reverse all the damage.

Following the discussion with doctors, Burhan Khan (ChillinDude’s brother) seeked support from the community through a fundraiser. As it happens, the cost of availing hospital services, including the surgery, is humongous.

Burhan also added that Kashan’s insurance is not enough to cover all expenses. The doctors have even talked about discharging him due to insufficient coverage. At the moment, Kashan is recovering well, according to Burhan and this fund will help his family get him the best possible care.

It’s heartwarming to see streamers and creators come forward to support the fundraiser for ChillinDude’s recovery. Currently, the fundraiser has managed to raise over $228,000 and counting. The goal is presently $400,000.

The top contributor on the list was Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, a popular Fortnite streamer, who donated a massive $25,000 to the fund. Following Ninja is Ludwig Ahgren, who is also a popular streamer on YouTube. Ludwig donated a whopping $10,000 towards the cause.

ChillinDude was reportedly complaining of excruciating knee pain since the past few weeks. On June 3, his family tried contacting him but he didn’t return any of their calls. At first, his family thought he may be busy with streaming or work. Later, they realized something’s fishy and contacted his local friends. His friends, upon investigating, found him unconscious in his apartment.
