Nintendo X LEGO is always a bankable affair. The Japanese Gaming giant has always made massive bucks when partnered with LEGO. The list of LEGO collaborating Nintendo giants goes from Mario products to the Donkey Kong series. Now, some rumors suggest another massive deal with LEGO might be coming for the popular Animal Crossing series. While there’s already plenty of speculation running around Nintendo’s August plans, another rumor has added to the hype.
The Animal Crossing gaming series is one of the most popular social simulations to date. The game is now set to receive a new branding makeover. As suggested by some reliable rumors, Nintendo is planning another episode of the LEGO partnership for the social simulation giant. Moreover, the product launch for the series is sooner than the fans can expect.
Nintendo to Announce Animal Crossing LEGO in August?

A leak on the Japanese gaming giant has predicted a LEGO-themed Animal Crossing product announcement in August. According to the rumor, the products will have 5 different categories ranging from $15 to $75. Estimated to hit the sales in March next year, fans have started speculating an imminent announcement. Both companies have previously followed a similar pattern of announcing collaborated products in August. Also, with the spotlight being on Nintendo around a possible Switch 2 announcement, fans won’t mind another pleasant surprise.

Developed and published by Nintendo itself, the game is still a major contributor to the company’s cult following. Initially released in 2001, the developers have developed five major titles under the label. Cashing on the love received by the franchise, three spin-offs have also been released. With exceptional critical acclaim, the game has by far sold more than 70 million units since its release. Considering the brand value of the franchise, a LEGO fusion seems like an ideal move.

The company would be making an appearance at the Gamescon 2023. If the rumors are to be trusted, the ultimate gaming carnival might be the perfect time for such a massive revelation. Although all these currently being fan theories an official confirmation is yet to be made. But an Animal Crossing-inspired LEGO product series is possibly the most desired LEGO collectible after the Mario edition. It will be interesting to see how the developers plan the revelation as fans are already on edge with just the rumor.
