Nintendo and Mario Fans Perplexed After Mario Gets Clearly Depicted in Chris Pratt’s Voice in The Super Mario Bros. Movie Trailer

The Nintendo and Mario fans had a rejoiceful Thursday. The much-awaited trailer of the Super Mario Bros. movie stepped into the fan’s kingdom and stoked the fans by showcasing a brilliant projection of characters and animations. But there is something that the fans seem to be unhappy about.

Super Mario Bros. animated movie is all set to hit the theatres on April 7, 2023. Fans will see Chris Pratt giving voice to the fan-loved Mario. Alongside him will be Jack Black, Seth Rogen, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Charlie Day, who are giving their voice to Bowser, Donkey Kong, Princess Peach, and Luigi, respectively. And as the trailer got released, fans seemed to have found something that doesn’t go well with their expectation.

Fans seem to be perplexed after hearing Mario for the first time in Super Mario Bros

On October 6, 2022, Nintendo and Illumination studios released the trailer for the Super Mario Bros. movie. Moreover, the trailer was showcased through a Nintendo Direct presentation and at the New York Comic Con. Surprisingly, 600,000+ watched the trailer live on Nintendo Direct’s YouTube stream.

While the fans seemed to be impressed by the artwork and animation prowess depicted in the trailer, a thing pinged their expectations. As the trailer progressed, came the applauding appearance of Mario in the Mushroom Kingdom. However, Chris Pratt’s voice seemed to be perplexing the fans, literally.

Chiefly, the fans were expecting to see, or hear, more of a Mario-inspired voice. Rather than just plainly hearing Chris Pratt. A fan replied to The Super Mario Bros. The Super Mario Bros. movie trailer starts with what could be conferred as drops of lava. Which clearly hinted at the presence of Bowser. And then appeared the King of Koopas, Bowser. Moreover, he walked commandingly with a large army on either side of him. On his way to conquer an ice kingdom. And melted the ice kingdom with a blowing furious fire. “Now who’s gonna stop me?” as the Koopas’ King reached for an iconic Power Star.

Well, sorry to break it to you, Bowser, but it seems that Mario has entered the Mushroom Kingdom. Moreover, falling on the bumpy mushrooms, he stood amazed. “What is this place?” The confused superhero took a glance at the vicinity. He meets Toad, but what next? “Mushroom Kingdom, here we come,” said the Chris Pratt voiced Mario. Thus, proceeded ahead while jumping on the bouncy mushroom.
