Nintendo dropped a great surprise for fans in NYC. Now that almost every other gaming company is announcing Halloween-exclusive things for fans, Nintendo isn’t an exception to that. Yes! Nintendo also joined the bandwagon revealing Halloween-themed surprise giveaways for fans. And people are super excited to explore what Nintendo has stored for them.

Recently, Rockstar brought Halloween week for GTA Online featuring spooky elements into the gameplay. And now Nintendo is offering gifts! Nintendo’s surprise giveaway is named Pokeween, which pokes fans to make obvious connections to Nintendo’s famous Pokémon franchise. 

Pokeween: What fans should expect 

Nintendo New York’s official X (formerly Twitter) announced that the famous creators of Mario are back with a surprise for fans this Halloween. Further, this announcement revealed that Nintendo’s giveaway will start from 10 a.m. PCT on the last day of October. Fans with exciting Halloween costumes will receive surprise giveaways from the Nintendo NYC store. However, they have to be present within the timings 5 pm to 7 pm.

And the cherry on top is people don’t need to necessarily make any purchase to avail the gifts. However, this announcement also mentioned that this giveaway products are limited to one person per group. While fans thought the surprise giveaway is limited to this then they are wrong. Nintendo will also offer a surprise Pikachu visit in the store to meet and greet the fans. How cool is that? With Pikachu’s presence, Nintendo NYC’s Halloween giveaway event will truly become a Pokeween event. 

Nintendo NYC’s surprise giveaway brings great excitement among fans

Nintendo NYC’s surprise giveaway at their Pokeween event surely fuelled fans’ Halloween excitement. And the comment thread of the Twitter post is quite proof of that. Fans seemed overly excited to know whether they could show up in any spooky costume or it had to be a Nintendo character- “Does it specifically have to be a Nintendo character or can I just show up in a skeleton mask and a Sans hoodie.” Excited Pokémon fans enquired whether Pikachu is surely coming to the event. 

People wanted to see Pikachu in its Halloween costume- “please tell me pika has a halloween fit.” Fans expressed their great interest in attending the event.
