Sonny John Moore, better known as Skrillex, stunned the world in the final days of 2022 after he announced a fresh album. And after almost a decade, he finally decided to surprise them all with Rumble.

But there was a time when the LA artist shook the world with his own video game. He belonged to the music industry, so none of his fans were expecting a walk into gaming. But, he stunned them all in November 2012, launching Skrillex Quest.

Skrillex Quest was a Zelda-like game that challenged fans to save the world from the spreading glitch. It worked in an NES cartridge and featured a single-player format for users. ‘The game also featured a bunch of collectibles, easter eggs, with each zone having a time limit pressuring you to find them all before being forced to move on.’
