Nintendo Switch has finally given access to one of the most awaited games of all time, and fans are loving it! The franchise released the title on September 20, 2022, calling out fans from different parts of the world.

And instantly, the game skyrocketed at release as it also had some involvement with the Apple arcade. So, if you’re still wondering what we’re referring to, it’s none other than the mystical game Wylde Flowers. 

Back in 2017, Nintendo felt the gap between their users as they had to sit in one place to play their favorite games. So, to reduce this gap and improve customer relationships, the franchise launched its first-ever handheld console, the Nintendo Switch.

It was a game-changing device in the gaming industry as fans could game despite being in any corner of the world. This heavily benefitted the franchise as it churned massive revenue from its sales.

Apart from that, the franchise also started focusing on adding more and more Switch titles, giving fans the exclusivity of their purchase. And now, they’ve added another title to their library, gifting fans an Apple arcade marvel.

For those uninitiated, “Wylde Flowers is a cozy, life and farming sim with a witchy twist! Escape to a cute world of diverse folks and magical spells as you and the coven unravel a mystery!” The game features a female protagonist, Tara, who lands on this mystical island to help her grandmother on their family farm.

While the game was first limited only to Apple users, the developers felt the need to expand soon. Studio Drydock, the Australian developer, decided to launch them on PC and Nintendo Switch, entering the big leagues.

This massive thought change came right after the company got its award for best Apple Design in terms of Inclusivity on Apple Arcade. And now you may wonder what is it that makes the game so special, right?

Well, the game is one of the first that attempts to introduce LGBTQ-friendly characters, allowing each player to casually choose from the library. It is one of those titles where you just can take a break from your busy schedule and relax in the soothing atmosphere of the mystical land. 

“Coming to the Nintendo Switch and Steam platforms is the dream we set out for with Wylde Flowers, and is a natural home for our game. We can’t wait to bring this experience to more players and share the world we’ve created for them,” the creative director of Studio Drydock explained. 

So, with the massive release on Nintendo Switch and Steam, the franchise will now look forward to adding interesting updates for the same.
