Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga could turn out to be a ray of hope for third-party ports on the Nintendo Switch!

Nintendo hasn’t witnessed a very positive history in terms of providing amazing third-party ports for its consoles. Simply put, the device has seen mostly cloud-based titles making their debuts for the Switch. That’s been the only way Nintendo players can enjoy games other than the company’s own exclusives.

But this tradition of cloud support may end up for the good, very soon. Because of the newly launched Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, developed by Traveller’s Tales. It recently arrived for various platforms, including the Switch as well. And so far, the reactions have been amazing, to say the least. Plus, it’s also showing up among the top Switch offerings on the eShop for $59.99.

It implies that the game has a massive potential to transform the picture for future third-party launches.

The same can be said about Hogwarts Legacy from Avalanche studio. The highly awaited project is confirmed to be releasing for the Nintendo Switch at the end of this year. And if it turns out to be good, it will be a boon for all the upcoming titles that are not Switch exclusives.

For the Switch players, the cloud-based gameplay experience hasn’t been that smooth. Thus, they would like to see third-party arrivals in the form of proper ports. That way, they will be able to enjoy themselves in the most amazing way possible.
