To escalate their excitement for its debut even further, the makers just announced a standalone livestream showcase dedicated to Splatoon 3. Moreover, it’s set to be revealed later in the ongoing week.

Fans go crazy after Nintendo reveals Splatoon 3 Direct for August 2022

Splatoon 3 is the upcoming addition in its franchise. Just like its predecessors, it will also feature online multiplayer matches along with a single-player campaign mode as well. And yes, it will be in third-person like the previous entries.

Players will gain a returning ability as well, from past installments, to choose between Inkilings and Octolings as their playable character. They will have the weapons that can shoot colored ink and each weapon type comes with unique abilities.

While the excitement is already increasing for the Switch exclusive, Nintendo has now revealed a dedicated Splatoon 3-based Direct for August. Interestingly, the event is set to take place in this week itself on Wednesday. The official Twitter account for the Mario maker unveiled this giant news.
