Nintendo Fans Rejoice as Glorious Mario N64 Title Gets Switch Online Debut – “This Game Is Neat”

Nintendo keeps offering huge surprises for the fans in the form of various new titles or exciting updates. This time, it’s about a classic N64 Mario game that is coming back for those who’ve never played it on the modern Switch Console.

The upcoming addition is none other than Mario Golf. It will arrive next week as part of the Switch Online Pack. With this, it will also become the fourteenth Nintendo 64 title to be introduced for the latest console.

Nintendo fans rejoice as Mario Golf revealed for the Switch Online

For the newer generation of gamers, in case they don’t know about it somehow, Mario Golf is a 1999 title developed by Camelot Software Planning. Originally it was released for the retro N64 console.

In the game, the character of Mario plays golf with his friends, as well as his enemies, on multiple themed courses. There are additional characters also such as Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, and Wario. On the other hand, the Nintendo classic further introduces Plum, Sonny, Harry, Maple, and Charlie, all created by Camelot.

And now, Mario Golf will make its appearance for all the gamers of the modern era who own the Nintendo Switch. Starting April 15th, they will be able to enjoy the N64 game, which will arrive as part of the Switch Expansion Pack.

Once again, it will be the 14th old title from the era of the Nintendo 64 console to make its way to the Switch.

Meanwhile, it seems like fans are also happy with this announcement. On Twitter, most of them reacted in a positive way to this reveal of Mario Golf coming to the Switch next week. “This game is neat”, wrote one user.

In other news, Nintendo is also preparing for the launch of its fresh projects in 2022. The upcoming line-up looks great with the likes of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Interestingly, the latter will be the second Pokemon based entry this year, after Arceus released in early January.
