Nintendo Fans Rejoice As November Sees A Special Collaboration Between Pokemon & German Sportswear Manufacturer

Pokemon is the most famous video game series by the Japanese video game company Nintendo. The first games in the series were Pokemon Red and Green, which came out 26 years ago. Soon the Nintendo game series would also welcome two more additions, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, on November 18. However, there will be other additions to the franchise this month.

The popularity of the Pokemon games got them various adaptations and collaborations like movies, animes, and toys. Now the Pokemon Company has joined the German multinational company Puma. The latter is well-known for producing excellent sports and casual footwear, clothes, and other accessories. So, soon fans would get new merchandise at the Pokemon Centre.

Pokemon joins Puma for special shoes

On November 1, The Pokemon Company announced their collaboration with Puma. It took little time for fans to notice the significant collaboration. But the mystery that everyone had in mind was what would be the collaboration between these two big brands.

But later, the internet got flooded with leaks about this collaboration. Those leaks revealed that the partnership between the two giants would introduce a footwear line. Although both brands are yet to officially announce the shoes, it’s already known that those shoes are themed after the starter Pocket Monsters in the Kanto region.

So, Nintendo fans who are Fire-type experts can go for the Charmander-themed show. Meanwhile, those who love Grass and Water-type should go for the Bulbasaur and Squirtle ones. However, that’s not the end, as the Kanto region offers one more starter, which is also a fan-favorite Pocket Monster.

In the anime series, the protagonist Ash reached Professor Oak’s lab late. As a result, the Kanto-boy had to begin with an unusual starter, Pikachu, an Electric-type and also the official mascot of the series. So, the Puma collaboration also has Pikachu-themed shoes. Undoubtedly, no brand would not make a Pikachu-themed product when collaborating with The Pokemon Company.

How did fans react to this unique collaboration?

The Nintendo fans were thrilled to know about this collaboration. They are now eagerly waiting for when these shoes will be available. Fans also shared which ones they would choose, while some suggested other Pocket Monsters that could be the theme for the shoes.
