To the fellow Nintendo fans who don’t know what the game is, it is a kart racing game that came out in 2014. It gives users the original Mario Kart experience where players drive around with Mario in the virtual world. The game decides its winner according to the items collected during the race. These items help to give an advantage over the opponents in the course.

What makes the Mario Kart 8 different is the anti-gravity feature that allows players to drive over walls. Additionally, the game also introduced a feature in which players can bump into each other to get a boost.

Driving through Coconut Mall

Now, to those who follow the game thoroughly, Nintendo has an exciting announcement for you. After its release on the Switch five years back, the Mario Kart eight Deluxe is getting eight new racetracks. The franchise launched the update as a Booster course Pass DLC.

The course will allow players to drive through the Coconut Mall, a level in the new pack. Players already had a glimpse of this as it previously premiered on Mario Kart Wii. But this has led to a debate in the community as fans are still trying to find the ‘deluxe’ part in it. A majority complained that a render of the track given by Nintendo lacks the realistic features and polish when compared to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s current graphics.

Here’s what the others had to say.

Earlier this week, a Twitter user MarioPartyLegacy found the changes that the franchise had made in the update. In his tweet, we can clearly see the addition of vibrant colors and better graphics for the coconut mall. Another user showed an image where we can spot the Miis of the parking lot replaced by Shy guys.

With the release of the new DLC, fans can now race in the Sky Garden and Paris Promenade, tracks from the previously released versions.

What do you think about this? Which will be your favorite track? Let us know in the comments section.
