Nintendo keeps surprising millions of its fans, especially when they are not expecting the most. It seems like the Japanese gaming giant has done it again, while also rejoicing the owners of the Switch. Especially those who were waiting for months to get a new update on the Mario Kart 8 title.

Well, Nintendo has granted the wish of fans by announcing the second wave of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s DLC tracks. Not to mention that the reveal has left all the gamers speechless, as they are already delighted before the second wave’s release.

Nintendo Switch fans are hyped for Wave 2 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC

The official Twitter account of Nintendo recently announced the arrival of Wave 2 in MK 8 Deluxe’s DLC. This was a highly awaited news for the Switch fans who love to play Mario Kart 8 on their handheld consoles.

Since the debut of the first wave, the Japanese giant didn’t provide any detail regarding the next offering. Due to this situation, the developer and publisher even faced a lot of backlashes recently.

But now that the Wave 2 is coming next week, on August 4, here are the eight tracks that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe fans should be excited about:

  • Turnip Cup: Players can zip past skyscrapers while having a scenic drive through the park in the course inspired by the Big-Apple.
  • SNES Mario Circuit 3: Nintendo Switch users will love to drift around tight corners in this course. However, they will need to avoid the Warp Pipes.
  • N64 Kalimari Desert: It features quick run-ins with a very old steam locomotive that crosses the course. Players need to make sure not to cause any delays whatsoever.
  • DS Waluigi Pinball: This course is themed on the giant pinball table, having colorful lights and sounds.
  • Propeller Cup Tour Sydney Sprint: This course initially made its way in the Mario Kart Tour and is now available in the newer Nintendo Switch version as well.
  • GBA Snow Land: Players need to make sure they don’t slip or slide away on this wintry course from Mario Kart: Super Circuit.
  • Wii Mushroom Gorge: It features an underground cavern alongside the deep chasms and big mushrooms. Landing safely will be the key to victory in this course.
  • Sky-High Sundae: This course consists of larger-than life deserts at possibly every turn so that players can take a break.

Meanwhile, Nintendo fans wasted no time in dropping their reactions as soon as the Wave 2 announcement spread across social media. Most of them expressed extreme happiness after knowing that the Japanese giant has finally listened to their requests. Many players are quite excited about the Waluigi Pinball course, as it’s making a big comeback.
