A few years back, Nintendo had announced its partnership with Ubisoft for a Mario title. The two gaming giants shook hands to create an intergalactic title, now known as Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. The game is set to drop in October 2022 as a sequel to Kingdom Battle. 

Nintendo plans to go all in with the upcoming Mario title as fans saw multiple announcements concerning the game. In their recent Twitter post, they updated fans about a massive DLC as an expansion pack. 

Nintendo announces massive DLC update for upcoming Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope

On September 11, 2022, popular Nintendo informant SwitchForce updated fans about a DLC expansion for Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. He claimed that the franchise was introducing “Rayman,” a character from the Ubisoft universe, as the third expansion pack.

It was just a matter of minutes before Ubisoft backed his news as they uploaded a fresh video on their YouTube channel. The franchise featured gameplay footage of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, confirming the addition of Rayman to the same.

To talk a little about the trailer, Ubisoft took fans to the Terra Flora planet, showing the game’s characters on their journey to save sparks. They also featured improved graphics and technicalities, proving how hard they worked for this one.

As of now, we can confirm that Nintendo will add primary characters like Mario, Luigi, and Rabbid Rosalina in the game. Apart from that, they have just revealed Rayman as the third DLC expansion while keeping the first two in the dark. So, it is only time that will help us understand all of Nintendo’s secrets.
