Recently, news about an upcoming console spread like wildfire. As reported by the organization The Verge, “Verizon is teasing that it’s working on a 5G gaming handheld with Razer and Qualcomm, which is set to be fully announced on October 15th at RazerCon.

Furthermore, they said, “The carrier talked a little about the device, which will be called the Razer Edge 5G, at a keynote at MWC Las Vegas, saying that it’ll run Android and give you access to cloud gaming services like Xbox Cloud Gaming.” Which simply means that a new arrival in the industry could be seen.

Above all, it was learned that Qualcomm’s G3x chipset will be utilized by the upcoming console. Moreover, as listed on Qualcomm’s official website, the chipset supports up to 4K resolution and 60 fps. Thus, holding the potential for delivering an immersive and highly graphical gaming interface.

What is the situation looking like for Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and Logitech G Cloud?

Now, the arrival of a new handheld console will inevitably step up the competition. With that said, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and the upcoming Logitech G Cloud will supposedly be looking to enhance their platforms. Moreover, Razer’s new handheld console will carry the feature to support 5G, unlike Steam Deck.
