Now a recent report from Famitsu has revealed that Nintendo Switch has gone past 25 million sales in Japan, the home of the Mario maker. Simply put, the console has now sold over 25 million units in the Asian country. That’s a remarkable achievement for this device, being in its sixth year of launch.
Moreover, Nintendo’s popular online simulation hit Animal Crossing: New Horizons also emerged as a major winner in Japan. The insanely famous game has now sold over 7.26 million units in the country. Not to mention that it’s the top-selling title in the region. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate ended up at the second spot with 4.89 million units sold.

Furthermore, Mario Kart managed to grab the third position in the list with 4.66 million sold units.

It’s set to release later this year for the Switch.
