Nintendo is deservedly one of the biggest sellers in the console industry. The Nintendo Switch sales have been incredible since its release. So much so, that Microsoft has struggled to keep up with its sales numbers, both in the US as well as in the global market. New survey claims that Nintendo is breathing down upon Microsoft’s neck as the Switch may soon overtake Xbox 360’s lifetime sales. Since its launch, the Switch has regularly outsold Microsoft Xbox 360. These numbers are pretty staggering given that the Xbox 360 was introduced in 2005, while the Switch was only released in 2017.

With Switch closing down the gap at breakneck speeds, it remains to be seen how Xbox holds up under pressure.
