The Kirby 64 was originally released in 2000, and made by HAL Laboratory, for the Nintendo 64 (N64) platform. It’s the first title to feature 3D graphics in the entire series. The story follows the journey of the pink hero as he attempts to reassemble a sacred crystal destroyed by Dark Matter.

Kirby 64 includes gameplay, including a 2.5D perspective view. It comprises similar features as that of other entries in the franchise. The player has to eat up the enemies in order to gain powers to make progress through different levels.

In recent news, as reported by VG247, Nintendo just revealed that Kirby 64 will make a grand return next week. It will be available through the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack on May 20th, 2022.
