Nintendo Switch Online Is Set To Bring Back a Classic Kirby Title for Fans of the Adorable Franchise

While Nintendo has been riding on a winning streak already in 2022, Kirby among its other hit releases, has been a special offering to come out this year. With Forgotten Land swaying the players, the developer and publisher succeeded in keeping the old craze alive for the pink hero.

Now Kirby is set to return, but for the Nintendo Switch. A classic entry from the N64 era is going to make its way on the Nintendo Switch Online service in the coming days.

The Kirby 64 was originally released in 2000, and made by HAL Laboratory, for the Nintendo 64 (N64) platform. It’s the first title to feature 3D graphics in the entire series. The story follows the journey of the pink hero as he attempts to reassemble a sacred crystal destroyed by Dark Matter.

Kirby 64 includes gameplay, including a 2.5D perspective view. It comprises similar features as that of other entries in the franchise. The player has to eat up the enemies in order to gain powers to make progress through different levels.

In recent news, as reported by VG247, Nintendo just revealed that Kirby 64 will make a grand return next week. It will be available through the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack on May 20th, 2022.

Without a doubt, it will be a special moment for the fans to witness this old game in the beloved Kirby saga. Young players who haven’t experienced the N64 version will now have a chance of exploring this blast from the past.

Moreover, the game will be Nintendo’s fifth offering from the N64 era for its Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
