This Mission and reward system is still quite new for many Switch players. After all, the Japanese giants introduced this feature back in April 2022. You might wonder where are these missions and rewards. So first you might need the NSO subscription. Then open the NSO app and select the Mission and Reward section, where you will find new rewards and missions each week.

What are the Nintendo Switch Online rewards for October 2022?

Each month the Japanese giants introduce new missions and rewards for the Switch Online subscribers to collect. Even October 2022 has some exciting rewards waiting for the players to collect them. So check out the missions and start collecting the items for October 2022.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons players will get to collect icon elements featuring the village residents who celebrate their birthdays in October. So, villagers’ icon elements you can get are Raymond, Goose, Tex, Kiki, Al, Petri, Gaston, and Shino. However, these icon elements would be available till October 31 at 5:59 PM Pacific Time.

Now let’s move on to The Legend of Zelda: the Breath of the Wild, as there are icons from this masterpiece too. However, the Zelda icons have four waves to release a different set of icons. These four categories represent the four in-game elements: Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind.

• Wind-themed icons: Wave 2, from October 3 to October 10.
• Water-themed icons: Wave 2, from October 10 to October 17.
• Fire-themed icons: Wave 3, from October 17 to October 24.
• Earth-themed icons: Wave 4, from October 24 to October 31.

These are the element icons you can get in October 2022. Also, this can be your last opportunity to get some Splatton 3 icons. As the last Wave of Splatoon 3 icons would no longer be there in the rewards section since October 6.

How to get rewards after completing NSO missions?

So for completing missions, you won’t get the above-mentioned reward, you have to redeem these rewards. So, for completing Nintendo Switch Online missions, the players will be awarded Silver Points, which they can use to redeem the October 2022 icon elements.
