Such has been the case with a French console collector who’s unintentionally collected a massive amount of them.

A majority of them don’t even bother to search for it as they are too engrossed in the newer one. However, there’s always a little group of people who showcase their products, cherishing them for years together.

Such has been the case for Kariaure, the French console collector, who’s collected over 2200 consoles to date. The rarity of a few consoles in his collection is what makes it so special, as one can barely find them. The collection has products released 50 years back, making them a vintage collection overall.

Kariaure even claims that 200/300 products in his collection are the only products left under the category, making them extinct from this world. Interestingly, the French collector claimed he never had the intention to collect them and that it happened randomly. However, he was happy that it did, as he became the sole owner of some of the most historical products. 

Dark Path in Kariaure’s life

During his collection journey, the French collector faced multiple setbacks. Due to this, he had to sell the majority of the product, ultimately losing pure gold. But, that did not stop Kariaure from fulfilling his dream as he again got back on track collecting them. 

In 2018, the French guy achieved his biggest dream, registering over 2000+ consoles under his name. However, once again, he’s now facing another setback, conditioning him to sell his console museum to the world. Now, the collection is available for €980,000, roughly a million dollars for US enthusiasts.
