Nintendo’s Mascot Mario is a household name for almost everyone across the globe. Even after many new entities came into the gaming realm, Mario and Co. still hold that special place in each and every fan’s heart. Considered the ‘OG’ character in the gaming circle, Mario has been the face of Nintendo for years.
Fans are keenly waiting for the new Super Mario Bros. Movie that is slated for release on April 7, 2023. Adding fuel to this excitement, Nintendo made yet another huge announcement. 2023 will also bring the ‘Super Nintendo World’ to America. Nintendo is expecting to open this thematic experience to its fans next year.

Nintendo brings back nostalgic memories
The Nintendo World is coming to Hollywood and the fans are excited about this new introduction. This new theme park will feature many activities that will surely amuse the people. Nintendo is bringing real-life Mario Kart to the park. The Mario Kart ride will be called “Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge”. The ride is equipped with augmented reality and real set pieces to give a real-life feeling to the ride.

Moreover, fans will also be able to be Mario himself. That is, the features from the classic game where Mario hits the mystery blocks to collect coins and other items have also been brought to the park. Players will get to collect digital coins in this ride.

All these are enabled through an ‘interactive watch’. This equipment is synced to the Universal studios Hollywood App. The watch will record the collected digital coins by the players and also work as the interactive median that enables conversations with Nintendo’s iconic mascots. Fans are pretty excited about the grand opening of Nintendo’s new park.

The park mainly features Mario for the time being even though the theme park tries to bring Nintendo’s theme. As Mario is the mascot and this is a new introduction to American soil, this might be an initial phase for the ‘Super Nintendo World’. After its initiation and expected success, Nintendo most likely will bring other aspects of their gaming world as well to this brand-new venture.

Currently, the game giant’s theme park is situated in Osaka, Japan. Super Nintendo World will officially open at Universal Studios Hollywood, California on February 17, 2023, just a couple of months before the new Mario movie’s release.
