Nintendo has been most successful this year when it comes to offering the best titles possible for the fans on the Switch. Soon, the developer and publisher will release a new offering in Splatoon 3.
Just recently, Nintendo held a dedicated Splatoon 3 Direct livestream to reveal what the players can expect from the title going forward. The makers unveiled a proper roadmap for the Switch exclusive. Contrary to what they did with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, this seems to be a good step for the Splatoon installment.

Furthermore, players can expect the updates to come up every three months or in each season throughout the year.
Comparatively, Nintendo‘s other exclusive, that released two years ago, didn’t come up with such a planned roadmap. We are talking about Animal Crossing: New Horizons which, despite being a great game, has mostly failed to live up to fans’ expectations in terms of getting constant updates.

Coming back to Splatoon 3’s future, once again, then it’s a positive change and a nice improvement than offering a vague revelation of uncertain updates offering nothing. ANCH has suffered from this phase and it can be said that Nintendo’s team has now seemingly learned from its mistakes.
Some fans also think the same way as they dropped their feedback on social media following the reveal of Splatoon 3 Direct. Hardcore Nintendo lovers are hopeful that what happened with Animal Crossing won’t happen with Splatoon 3 in the long run.
