The Super Mario Bros. Movie has made a huge buzz ever since its first-ever trailer was released worldwide last week. The hype among all the Nintendo fans seems to be through the roof already. After all, they will witness their favorite gaming character in full glory alongside the younger brother Luigi.
While the trailer has received many praises, one Nintendo gaming fanatic recently decided to reimagine it from the perspective of a retro gamer. Especially for those who are from the N64 era.

Universal, Illumination Pictures, and Nintendo unveiled the exclusive clip from the anticipated movie just a few days ago. In the trailer, the iconic characters like Bowser, Luigi, and Mario were shown. They will be featured in an interesting plot that is yet to be fully revealed.

However, one scene in particular, from the Super Mario Bros. Movie trailer, has attracted tons of reactions on social media. It involves Jack Black’s Bowser wreaking havoc on the Penguin Kingdom. Despite their best efforts, the Penguin King and his army proved to be completely ineffective against the Koopa King. This sequence is followed by Bowser clinching a one-sided victory.

Recently, one Nintendo fan, who is also a 3D animator, decided to give this scene a new take with a touch of N64. Apparently, the user, who’s known as Coda on Twitter, shared their version of the scene from the movie’s trailer. It shows a brilliant recreation of Bowser’s assault on the Penguin Kingdom.

Another interesting thing about this impressive short rendition is that the main essence of the sequence is captured very nicely by the animator when it comes to showing the intensity.
