Final Fantasy-inspired Lost Soul Aside is another most-anticipated game of 2024. This game initially began as a creative project back in 2016. However, the project didn’t work well and Sony took over in 2019. Although Lost Soul Aside was to be released in 2020, the pandemic didn’t let things happen as per plans. However, developers announced that this game might finally be released in 2024.

Lost Soul Aside initially began as a project exclusively for PlayStation 4. However, there was a long gap in between. The recently leaked trailer from the ChinaJoy convention revealed another news hinting that the game might have been canceled for Sony’s console. 

Sony’s PlayStation 5 might reach a new level with Lost Soul Aside

The media hype surrounding Lost Soul Aside’s leaked trailer from ChinaJoy event proved that fans are in high anticipation. Although the footage was hazy and contained only Chinese subtitles with no sound, fans worldwide gave an overwhelming response to the video on social media platforms. This trailer gave some initial details about the game’s action-themed RPG set-up on Unreal Engine 4.

However, what more was told in the footage was the game’s ultimate release planned for PlayStation 5. This surely meant that the long-decided platform of PlayStation 4 for Lost Soul Aside was cancelled by Sony.

Despite all this, this game’s unique combat skills and engaging story seemed to amuse fans already. However, the trailer proved why developers cancelled the launch of PlayStation 4. Fans believed that Lost Soul Aside improvised a lot from its technical-demo stage back in 2016 to 2019. Now this game appeared like a full-scale game, which would better perform on PlayStation 5.

There is no information about the game’s Windows launch yet. Definitely, the excitement level has increased much higher among the fans as they can’t wait to experience Lost Soul Aside on their system.

This year, PlayStation’s ChinaJoy convention brought some extra amount of happiness for Lost Soul Aside fans. This year UltiZero Games, the developers of Lost Soul Aside released a detailed ten-minute-long footage of the game at the event. Following the anticipation regarding this RPG, fans were amused to see Ray Tracing with beautiful landscapes and improvised graphics of Lost Soul Aside. Fans also approved of the gameplay story that showed promising inspiration from both Devil May Cry and Final Fantasy XV.
