No More Unlimited Diamonds in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as New Patch Fixes Duplication Glitch

In just a few days post its release, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has definitely won the hearts of fans and critics alike. The fans love this game for the freedom of imagination it is giving them. They are building outstanding inventions thanks to the new set of powers Link has received. However, as exceptional as the game might be, there is always some sort of bug found which can be exploited by many. 

This time the glitch found in the game was a Duplication glitch. This glitch was being exploited too much and finally caught Nintendo’s eyes. Furthermore, they have finally fixed it too.

The Zelda duplication glitch is fixed in the patch notes

Nintendo has rolled out yet another patch for their latest Zelda title. This time, they have fixed some major issues that have been bugging the players. Released on May 25, the game fixed some audio issues along with the gameplay experience. However, not mentioned on the official site, the patch also fixed the duplication glitch.

The Zelda fans had somewhat mixed reactions to it. While some praised Nintendo for giving all players a fair gaming experience, some mentioned they lost their chance to create cheats like Rockstar’s GTA.

With the new patch release rolling out, many fans started to complain about duplicated items being removed from their inventory, too. To prevent their inventory to not be cleaned out, many fans are opting not to update the game and wait for it until a new DLC is released for the game.

Nintendo releases new patch Version 1.1.2

The official support page listed the following patch notes for the latest version 1.1.2.

Audio Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the sound would play at an extremely high volume in certain conditions.

Additional Fixes

  • Fixed an issue in the main quest, “Camera Work in the Depths”, where players could not progress beyond a certain point. Downloading the update will allow players to proceed past that point.
  • Several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.
