It hasn’t been a good year for the Sentinels as they bumped into several hurdles during VCT Challengers 2022. The team’s gameplay lagged in terms of strategies and synergy. As a result, the unexpected happened and Sentinels couldn’t qualify for the Valorant Champions 2022 through Circuit Points.

Then again, the team received a boon in the form of a Last Chance Qualifiers slot, after Ghost Gaming’s loss to NRG in Stage 2 playoffs. And, Shroud will be a part of the same, both as a comeback to the competitive scene and as an entry into the world of Valorant Competitive.

Fans, analysts, and streamers all over the world are still in major disbelief. According to Shroud, even people inside of the organization thought he was trolling. “When we threw my name into the bucket of the players that they can use as a fifth, everybody thought I was trolling. Everybody… the players, the owner, everybody. They still might, who knows? You guys probably think it is a troll too,” he shared.
