“Nobody Wants to Play That 6th Grade Design” – Dr Disrespect Slams Call of Duty Over a ‘Gimmicky’ Mode in Warzone 2

Call of Duty revealed the latest offering in Modern Warfare II last month and it made history upon its awaited debut. Now the franchise is set to repeat the success with the extension of the newest installment with the upcoming Warzone 2.

The battle royale will soon launch worldwide for the fans who are die-hard fans of battle royale titles. However, it looks like not all the players are looking forward to this game. Especially Dr Disrespect, who’s already expressed his concerns for the Call of Duty offering. Precisely speaking, then he’s not happy with a very hyped mode in Warzone 2. He thinks that it’s badly executed.

The DMZ mode in Call of Duty Warzone 2 is ‘gimmicky’ according to Dr Disrespect

Infinity Ward had recently shared an in-depth blog mentioning a lot of information for the new mode in Warzone 2. Per the blog, DMZ is “a dangerous, diverse and deep open world experience where players can choose their level of intensity. Even in its earliest form, the DMZ experience is built for the most hardcore completionists”.

The developer mentioned that the DMZ mode is something in which players of all skill levels can choose to compete and win, according to their style of play. Their objective will be to loot up and survive till the end. Call of Duty players will get to explore AQ Forces and also the enemy Operators while trying to loot as much as possible and exfiltrate in the end.

Following the release of the details on DMZ, Dr Disrespect took to Twitter to express his disappointment. Seems like the Two Time is not excited for this mode in Warzone 2. In fact, he thinks that it’s “already dead. Nobody wants to play that 6th grade design.”

Moreover, he even claimed that this mode won’t have any chance in keeping the players hooked after one week. Simply put, Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV is strongly upset with it, after looking at the recent footage. In case anyone missed it, Call of Duty had recently organized a streamer-only event in which many prominent streamers got to experience DMZ for the first time.

Warzone 2 is set to come out on November 16th, 2022 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. It will be available to pre-load on November 14th.
