For many years, a major debate has been going on among the fans over the new Call of Duty games and the classics that were released more than a decade ago. While some people are enamored by its nostalgia, others have not been as enchanted.

However, when it comes to the most memorable and beloved COD, there’s little doubt that Treyarch’s 2012 gem Black Ops 2 is in a league of its own. The title’s enormous popularity in the long-running series is still strong. So much so, that many players now want it to be re-released – even if it means getting a remastered version!

Developed by Treyarch Studios and published by Activision, BO2 made its way more than ten years ago on November 13, 2012. Being a sequel to the original Black Ops, it was the ninth entry overall in the action franchise. Upon its debut, it ended up receiving overwhelmingly positive reactions from both critics as well as gamers. From the main single-player Campaign to Multiplayer and Zombies, everything was to the delight of gamers everywhere.
Probably that’s the reason why Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is considered to be a masterpiece installment. Moreover, many fans believe it is the best COD ever. And that’s why they now want it to get a second life in the form of a graphically enhanced title.
Media outlet CharlieIntel recently took to Twitter to ask Call of Duty players which game in the series they would like to get fully remastered. Coming as no surprise, most of them mentioned BO2 as their top pick. According to them, it will be worth playing once again with all the amazing visual upgrades and enhancements. “I only need the greatest COD game ever remastered,” wrote one nostalgia lover.

BO2, they put care and effort in, then we just hit remasters every other year for CoD maybe even a bit longer like 3-4 years in between.
Gives time for actual thought out games ready on launch that don't backtrack and revert to old features and maps and call them "updates."
