Although it was cleared by the insider, even OpTic BigTymeR himself was shocked by the news. Thus, some of the members of OpTic themselves didn’t grasp the idea of the game being this bad.
Worth noting that this was before champs, but BigTimer says 'That bad..?" so had the same thought process.

Why do some pros don’t want to play Call of Duty MW2?
The reason why many pros don’t want to play the game can be because of the tournament that followed the interview. According to fans, the pros were busy preparing for the CoD Champs and didn’t want to play any different game just before a $2.5 Million tournament.

Another thing to notice is that professionals don’t play any video game easily until they are getting paid for it. Thus fans think that if the pros are paid enough, they might love to play any Call of Duty installment.

They’ll play it when they can get views for money with it, sad how they try to play both sides to make money, and they have no idea that they’re damaging the community

Eventually, it was also made clear that it is very relevant for pros to say such a thing since they play Call of Duty basically every day, but fans will surely love the game.
