With the update, the game also brings in subtitles. Players will get to experience captioned cutscenes as they progress in the game. However, fans have welcomed the update despite prior criticism of performance and the $50 price. The lack of multiplayer and a PC release has also led to some disappointing responses from players.
Fans’ reaction to hearing about the new update
Take-Two defends the $50 price point, considering players get the base game and Undead Nightmare. Many fans have been calling Rockstar out on their laziness of not releasing a new game. While most comments hinted towards the anticipation that awaits GTA 6, some players were genuinely happy about the update.
Now I consider buying the game.

There was also an addition from the original poster correcting their statement and mentioning that the 60FPS toggle will also be available for players playing on the PS4 Pro.
Just a small correction, PS4 Pro players will also have an option to toggle 60fps.
Not sure what's the case on Xbox. Rockstar could work with Xbox and unlock the frame-rate directly from the emulator or release a new paid version for Xbox One. Hard to say what's happening.

One concerned fan asked the original poster if the high FPS comes with a resolution drop. To which they received a reply saying the game runs at 1080p or higher but asked for a second ear to clarify this.
Does it lower the resolution?

A PC gamer mentioned that the change doesn’t affect them, but they found it interesting that Red Dead Redemption has introduced the 60 FPS toggle for the PlayStation 4 Pro.
Not that it matters for me because I play RDR2 on PC but this game getting 60 fps before PS5 is kinda wild.
