Players being toxic in Valorant has been a huge issue for many who love the game.

Will AKA willius is a creator for the NRG franchise. He recently gave some tips to Valorant players on how to overcome or face the toxicity some players bring to ruin your games. He gives 5 tips for the players

The first thing that gets affected when encountering toxicity is our mental state. If the toxic player is being over-vocal and actually not saying anything beneficial, like giving comms. You just can keep your voice down. This would rob them of their tendency to get the limelight. 

2) Don’t use basic insults

Using these is not going to do you any good. Those players would find it as extra energy and would continue with their toxicity. 

3) Using rebuttals or comebacks

When toxicity is getting out of hand, according to Will, just give them a taste of their own medicine. For example, using statements like “Maybe this is the reason why all your friends leave you”. 

4) Mute

If you are having a bad game and they are using that to taunt you. Just mute them.

5) People won’t change

At the end of the day, you cannot change people. Just know that these players would keep doing these always. Let them be, you are better than that. 

These are the tips NRG willius has for the Valorant players. These are some tips that he suggests. But, some of them like muting are actually useful. You can also report players who are verbally abusing you or throwing the match. Riot is taking measures to penalize such players.
