Streamer HasanAbi, along with other critics of Twitter Blue, recently expressed his angst against the new change implemented on the platform. Per the popular Twitch content creator, Elon’s decision to buy Twitter for $44 billion to impose a paid method of getting verification is simply “stupid”.

“ofc elon is stupid enough to think people will pay 8$ a month to have their posts be seen, he literally paid 44$Bn for that validation,” he wrote in one of his latest tweets.

Furthermore, HasanAbi, while replying to someone else, mentioned that “people hate to pay to win schemes until it’s someone they idolize selling it to them under the false premise of free speech”.

He meant to say that since it’s Elon Musk, most of the people think paying to have have free speech on Twitter is justified. They wouldn’t have agreed had the same thing been revealed by someone else. What are your thoughts on this entire situation? Let us know in the comments.
