FromSoftware’s Elden Ring was one of the best games of 2022, reserving a special place in every fan’s heart. It allured millions of players, being gamers or not, guiding them across their majestic world. This RPG title broke multiple records right at launch, grabbing awards left and right. Notably, it received Game Of The Year 2022 at the Game Awards, beating games like God Of War Ragnarok and Horizon Forbidden West.

Apart from that, it kept its value even among billionaires, keeping them hooked to their screens. In fact, he explained it in so much detail that fans were eager to know his opinion about the updates. 

So, looking at these milestones, the developers planned for their next move, adding a DLC expansion to the game. And now, it seems like we finally have some news about it, as they have teased something on Twitter.

Game Of The Year 2022 Elden Ring might be getting its next big update 

On February 28, 2023, Elden Ring’s Twitter account dazzled fans with a fresh post. They teased a new DLC update for the game but limited the information to the name. Here’s what the tweet read, “Rise, Tarnished, and let us walk a new path together. An upcoming expansion for #ELDENRING Shadow of the Erdtree is currently in development. We hope you look forward to new adventures in the Lands Between.”

However, the devs added a few more updates to their official website regarding the same. It was nothing but a short blog post written in Japanese that promised the DLC release on multiple platforms.

“As with the main story, we plan to distribute it on PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series X|S / Steam. The follow-up report is still a little ahead, but I would appreciate it if you could look forward to it. We look forward to your continued support of ELDEN RING.” This is how the English translation looked for the website information.
