Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction is an upcoming awaited tactical shooter. Ahead of its release on January 20th, the Xbox Wire Twitter page took to a post to make the announcement.

The game will be available on the Game Pass from day one of its release. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction has an interesting premise. Elite operators from all around the globe band together to form R.E.A.C.T. This is a task force created to combat the new threat these operators face: a Zombie Virus from outer space infecting Earth.

Additionally, the game will be available to players who have subscribed to Xbox Game Pass for the console, PC, or Ultimate edition. Moreover, excitingly, Ubisoft+ will also be making an appearance on Xbox platforms in the future.

The game incorporates a lot of the gameplay mechanics from its predecessor, Rainbow Six Siege. This is not all for Tom Clancy fans; Rainbow Six Siege will be added to the Game Pass as well. While there are similarities between the titles, they have important distinctions as well. Rainbow Six Siege incorporates a 5V5 PVP shooter based in counter-terrorism environments.
However, operators that featured in Siege will be making an appearance in Extraction as well. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction features a PVE environment. 3 players will have to choose operators that fit their playstyle and play in tandem. With teamwork, they will attempt to combat an alien threat and survive.
The Tom Clancy universe seems to be expanding. Ubisoft is working on yet another Tom Clancy title. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Frontline. It is a battle royale featuring other sandbox elements where a squad will battle it out with others and survive. Are you excited for the upcoming release?
