Call of Duty Legend Scump opens up about his return

eSports has witnessed the rise of many legends in its history. Quite a few veterans have left a big gap to fill after their retirement. And of the few, a player that tops this list is Scump. His retirement came as a shocker for the eSports front. With many titles to his name, fans considered the COD veteran to have more fuel to pump out more trophies. However, Scump decided to retire and explore other opportunities that life had to offer.

Though he has retired, it seems like fans do want to see a comeback from him. In the recent past, something like this happened when Shroud decided to return to the eSports front by signing with Sentinels to play Valorant. But will Optic’s legendary gunner come back?

In a recent interview with Jake Lucky, the COD veteran was asked about the chances of his return to the eSports front. The expectations of fans were cut short as Scump stated that for now, he is not going to participate in any eSports. Further, he admitted that in the future he may again put on his armor and gear up for yet another eSports fight.

But will he return to the Call of Duty front again if he comes out his retirement in the future? It is highly unlikely. The former World Champion stated that if Call of Duty releases a top-notch game in the future that intrigues him and piques his interest, he might come back to the COD eSports circle.

Fans expect his return but are not sure if a legendary COD game will drop in the future

Scump fans love the idea of him coming back. Who doesn’t like a comeback story right? However, his condition tickled the fans’ funny bone.

It is primarily because many do not expect a legendary Call of Duty game to drop anytime soon.
