Amouranth is currently one of the biggest Twitch Streamers in the world. Her streams garner a massive number of viewers. Other than her streams, she is also looking forward to hosting big events. And to manage all these projects of hers, she needs a team of moderators making everything possible from behind the scenes.

Moderators will get ‘PAID’ instead of ‘LAID’ by Amouranth
Every big streamer requires moderators for their streams. Stream moderators are individuals who look after the technical aspects of the live streams and maintain respectful behavior in the chats. Moderators are a vital part of every streamer’s career. However, the streamer might not necessarily pay these moderators.

On January 3, 2023, Kaitlyn Siragusa aka Amouranth posted an application for a Moderator position on her streams. She posted a tweet, “LOOKING FOR NEW TWITCH MODS! If you mod for other big streamers & have a reference or would like to join the team DM me or reply here! ALSO EXCITING OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP MOD MY NEW SHOW (some positions will be laid or developed into paid positions!!) TELL YOUR FRIENDS @ THEM”

If you had read the tweet, you may have noticed that something is not right with it. It is a minor discrepancy but without context, can have hilarious interpretations. The streamer also noticed her mistake in the replies and she wrote correcting herself, “PAID* not laid”. But unfortunately, her fans had also spotted the mistake before she could point it out and the troll train left its track.

How did the fans react?
A user said, “That’s why you read before sending lol”. While another one said he is no longer interested in the position as he said, “retracting my application as we speak…”. Another user threw a high-brow troll by saying, “What do they call that? A Freudian slip?”. And a fan expressed this is her “new favorite autocorrect on Twitter”
